Dry Creek Trail Clean-Up 12/23

From Left to Right: (1) Group Photo (2) Remnants of the Kudzu Plant

On a chilly Monday afternoon, December 23, 2024, members of EISA joined Steven from Rewild Earth for a restoration effort along the Dry Creek trails. Armed with tweezers and saws, the team diligently worked to clear invasive plant species. They encountered and removed patches of olive, privet, and holly scattered along the trails. Steven was able to successfully eradicate a large growth of kudzu that had overtaken the trail during their previous visit, marking a major step forward in the preservation of the local ecosystem.
