Cedar Falls Park Clean-Up 10/13

On Sunday, October 13th, the East Invasive Species Association hosted its inaugural cleanup event at Cedar Falls Park! Our members teamed up with the amazing volunteers from rewildearth to tackle an array of invasive plants, including stiltgrass, privet, and holly. Removing the stiltgrass was particularly enjoyable—we rolled it down the hill in large, swirling bundles. To our delight, we also came across a turtle while working to restore the surrounding environment. As always, a heartfelt thanks to everyone who volunteered and helped make this event a success!
